Today was definitely an eventful day, so much happened. This is about yesterday and today since honestly, they feel like the same day after all of the traveling we did.

On Sunday, we left the Augusta Station on a Concord Coach bus and arrived at Logan Airport around 4:25 pm. TSA went pretty quickly and it was easier than I expected it to be. We got to our gate pretty quickly too. That meant we had time to kill before our flight started to board, so we all got food and waited until our flight boarded around 7:30. We were all spread out around the plane, but a couple of us were close to each other.

Today, Monday, the plane landed in Munich, Germany around 9:47 am. We had some trouble figuring out customs and getting our luggage, but we figured it out and got onto a train that would take us about 30 minutes to our next train which would take about an hour and a half and would take us to Salzburg, Austria. Once we got off the train, we got our tickets for the bus that would bring us to our hotel called Meinnger Hotel.

We had plans to go out at 4:30 pm after everyone settled in and got some downtime after all the flights. However, this was cut short by the fire alarm going off. The funny thing is that at first we didn't know it was the fire alarm and thought one of our phones was going off. It wasn't until we opened the door to the hallway and realized it wasn't just in our room that we realized that it was indeed a fire alarm. There wasn't a real fire, there was just something wrong with their fire alarms and they kept being set off, they set off two more times before we decided to leave a little earlier than we had planned and hope that they have them fixed when we get back from dinner. The good news, the fire department is close to our hotel and has a very fast response time.

For dinner we went to a restaurant that has traditional Austrian food, most of us got the Surschnitzel which was pretty good, in my opinion.

After dinner, we went for a walk before heading back to the hotel. We walked down to the river, the Salzach. We stayed at the river for a little while, just long enough to take pictures before heading back to our hotel. We were all tired, so it was about time to hunker down in our hotel rooms for the night. There had been a lot of traveling and all of us were pretty done with the day.
